Have you seen this photo of two lawmakers playing solitaire during a special session to pass a two-year state budget? BTW the budget was already three months late. So now they’re calling for a ban on Blackberries and laptops in the Senate which only means we’re still stuck with people that just don’t give a shit.
In the upper right corner, I like the Tony Bennett impersonator rounding the second chorus of “Fly Me To The Moon”.

I didn’t see this the first time around. Thank you for posting it. I think the system is a waste of time, money and energy; this is the proof.
Few people want to wade through the mundane monotony of Senate work, which is so bureaucratic. I imagine it’s no different from working in a cubicle. Let’s govern ourselves.
